ST. LOUIS—March 18, 2014— Clayton-based Moneta Group, a provider of financial advice to successful families and businesses, has announced Nancy Georgen as their 2013 Principal of the Year.
Georgen, who has been with the firm since 1972, was nominated by her peers to receive this prestigious award during Moneta Group’s 2014 State of the Union address. The award is given each year to recognize a principal who exemplifies the qualities of being an exceptional partner.
During the State of the Union address, Georgen was lauded by her colleagues. Two of her close colleagues spoke about the high quality work that Georgen performs on behalf of her clients and the constant improvement that she brings to Moneta Group and the Moneta Board of Managers.
“I, for one, have reached out to Nancy extensively for advice on a range of matters related to Moneta Group,” says Gene Diederich, CEO. “She always helps, and does so with a smile.”
Georgen has a long history of success with Moneta Group. After joining the organization in 1972, her clientele grew steadily due to her personalized, long-term approach.
“It’s very important that I understand each client’s specific goals, objectives and detailed financial information so I can advise them correctly,” Georgen says.
Her strategy clearly works well, as her average client relationship is longer than 15 years.
Georgen is also active in the community serving on the Fontbonne University Board of Trustees, COCA Investment Endowment Committee, and Nonprofit Services Center Board of Trustees. She is a former member and past Board Chair of the Crossroads College Preparatory School Board of Trustees and the Health Protection and Education Services (HPES) Board.
