ST. LOUIS—January 7, 2014—Moneta Group Investment Advisors, LLC (“Moneta”) is honored to announce the addition of Christie Schmuke, J.D. to the firm. Schmuke joins Moneta as their Estate Planning Consultant.

“We are thrilled to add Christie to the team,” says Moneta CEO, Gene Diederich. “Our clients will greatly appreciate the enhancement of our service offerings due to Christie’s ability to find unique solutions for a variety of situations.”

Schmuke joins the firm from Affinity Law Group, LLC where she worked on estate planning, firearms planning, corporate law, and tax law. Prior to her time at Affinity, she spent seven years at PriceWaterhouse Coopers serving as a tax consultant.

Her extensive and diverse background brings a valuable set of skills to Moneta Group’s distinctive set of clientele.

“I am truly excited to have the opportunity to work on such a variety of interesting situations,” says Schmuke. “I tend to be a big picture thinker, so helping clients find a solution for passing their assets along is very rewarding.”

In addition to her role as Estate Planning Consultant, Schmuke serves as the liaison for Moneta Trust and is on the board for the Moneta Group Charitable Foundation. She is also a member of the board of directors for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and a member of the Estate Planning Counsel of St. Louis.
