As an advisor on the KMB Team, Alex specializes in building trusted relationships with clients to create focused solutions tailored to their long-term goals. He sees Moneta as distinctly positioned to serve clients through highly personalized relationships grounded in institutional-level knowledge and capabilities. Extremely passionate about helping people identify and plan for their financial needs, Alex enjoys fulfilling this calling every day by working with clients to help them develop and implement customized financial plans for their individual situations.

Alex brings more than a decade of valuable working experience in the wealth management industry to the KMB Team. Attracted to Moneta’s powerful dichotomy of providing big-firm resources and small-firm attention to its clients, he joined the firm in 2019 after nearly six years at Edward Jones, where he served most recently as a Business Strategy Leader and Senior Analyst.

During his tenure at Edward Jones, Alex supported and helped lead some of the firm’s core business innovation efforts. His experience also includes time at the Center for Research in Security Prices and BNY Mellon Wealth Management. Alex started his professional career at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, where he provided analytical and operational support to one of the firm’s leading teams managing more than $2 billion in assets.

Alex earned his B.S. degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, graduating with cum laude honors. He continued his education and earned his MBA from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. While at Olin, Alex was recognized as a Knight Scholar for ranking as a top 10 graduate in his program and received the Olin MBA Finance Award given each year to the top student studying finance. Alex also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner® certification (CFP).

Outside of Moneta, Alex is deeply involved in Pedal the Cause (PTC), the annual cycling challenge that raises millions of dollars to provide critical research funding for Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis. In addition to his support for PTC, Alex also enjoys endurance sports, actively exploring the outdoors and traveling.
