Sean Ridley helps families plan, evolve, and maneuver more freely through the critical passages of life. He also enjoys providing guidance for entrepreneurs, business owners, and employees with unique equity exposure.  

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Sean provides resources and problem-solving skills that help these clients think through and implement a plan for the next phases of their life, business and career, the impacts to their family, and life after their next major transition. He joined Moneta in 2024, attracted by the firm’s commitment to providing advice free from hidden financial motives. 

Sean graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, focusing on Finance and Banking. Before joining Moneta, he worked at Morgan Stanley and U.S. Bank Private Wealth, gaining extensive experience in financial planning and wealth management. 

Outside of work, Sean is married with two small children. He loves traveling with his family, is an avid music fan and musician, and enjoys visiting new baseball stadiums.
