Sarah Bishop

As a Senior Retirement Plan Advisor on the Finerty Retirement Team at Moneta, Sarah Bishop advises her clients in all areas of their retirement plan and provides support in navigating the complexities related to ERISA, DOL, and IRS requirements.

With more than 15 years of industry experience, Sarah is knowledgeable in plan design, investment design, compliance testing, fiduciary requirements, plan governance, operational issues, plan expense management and benchmarking, regulatory requirements, and financial wellness education.

Sarah and her team work with Plan Sponsors to design plans that will meet their needs by first understanding their goals and objectives. Sarah is committed to providing the best possible solution for each of her clients by considering plan design, investment design, recordkeeping partners, and employee education strategies.

Sarah is passionate about improving the likelihood of successful retirement outcomes for the plan participants she serves, financial wellness education, and expanding access to retirement savings for more American workers.

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville. Prior to joining Moneta in 2021, Sarah worked as a Sr. Retirement Plan Consultant for EPIC Retirement Plan Services (formerly RPS Benefits). Sarah started her career as a Retirement Plan Specialist for RPS Benefits in 2007.

Sarah’s commitment to the retirement plan industry includes membership in the American Retirement Association’s National Association for Plan Advisors (NAPA) and American Society for Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). She also serves as a board member of the Gateway St. Louis ASPPA Benefits Council.

Sarah and her husband have two children. Away from the office, Sarah spends her time cheering on her sons at their youth baseball games and enjoying the outdoors with family. Sarah is also an active member of her church, serving on the Christ Church Legacy Foundation. She supports Fellowship of Christian Athletes by serving as a chair to the Metro-East Legacy Dinner Committee.
