As the Senior Manager of Data and Reporting on the Finerty Team, Sam works to improve technical processes as well as create more inciteful and actionable reporting for the team and our clients. 

Sam earned his Finance and Banking degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and MBA from Lindenwood University. He began his career in Operations at Scottrade before spending 11 years at a multi-family office in St. Louis. After this, Sam consulted individual UHNW/FO clients on technical challenges and data integrations as well as WealthTech companies building tools for Family Offices. 

Sam is from St. Louis. His wife works at WashU in the Psychology & Brain Sciences department. He has two kids. The Gogel’s enjoy spending time in their garden growing fruits and in the kitchen cooking their meager harvest. Sam also enjoys Mizzou sports, golfing, and watching EPL soccer on the weekend.
