Nicholas Pavlishin

CFP®

As an Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ on the Finerty Team, Nicholas Pavlishin builds personal relationships with each client so he can learn how to serve them best. He anticipates needs and focuses on communicating with clarity and simplicity.

Nicholas joined Moneta in 2019 after moving to St. Louis from Chicago. He was attracted to Moneta for its extraordinary reputation and the chance it offered him to grow and develop as a financial professional. The relationship-driven culture around interactions with both clients and team members made it a perfect fit for him.

Nicholas earned his B.S. degree in Finance from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University in Oxford, OH, which he attended on the Chick Evans Scholarship for caddies. He graduated in 2019 with industry experience from internships in corporate finance and private wealth management at Merrill Lynch and investment analytics at a firm in Hong Kong. Nicholas helped implement a program for Miami to join the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program.

A transplant proud to call St. Louis home, Nicholas wanted to begin philanthropic work in his new city as soon as possible. He is now Moneta’s internal champion for Mission: St. Louis and will spearhead ways for the firm and nonprofit to work together in making the city a better place for all to live and work. He also founded STLMADE YP, the young professionals board of Greater St. Louis Inc., with a mission to help attract and retain young talent in the area. Elsewhere in the community, Nicholas serves as a golf committee member to the Ronald McDonald House, a young friend to St. Patrick Center, and a member of the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis.

Recently married, Nicholas and his wife live in the historic Central West End with their rescued, four-legged, best friend, Mac. When away from the office and taking his mind off work, Nicholas enjoys golfing in the warm weather, skiing in the cold weather, then cooking and traveling year-round – having already visited 20 countries.
