Michael Walsh, Managing Partner and Branch Manager, co-founded Juniper Wealth Advisors in 2009. He specializes in comprehensive wealth management and investment planning to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals.

After starting his career at Nuveen Investments and Smith Barney Asset Management in institutional asset management, Mike has now spent more than two decades helping individual clients shape their financial goals and develop strategies for success based on their specific needs. He appreciates clients who value collaboration around financial decisions, a personal relationship, and clear communication.

In 2007, Mike earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

An Illinois native, Mike moved to Colorado with his wife in 1998. When not in the office, they enjoy wandering the Rocky Mountains with their three children. Mike also enjoys riding his bicycle. Highlights from his cycling endeavors include finishing the Leadville 100 mountain bike race, formerly serving as a board member of Boulder Junior Cycling, and riding to work. In fact, Mike has yet to find a kind of biking he doesn’t enjoy.
