Gene is the founder of the Diederich Simmons Perez team and currently focused on Moneta’s Family Office Practice. Gene started his career as a CPA with KPMG, spent 25 years in various roles with A.G. Edwards and successors Wachovia Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors. He is the former CEO of Moneta Group.

Outside of Moneta, Gene engages in a variety of business and charitable endeavors. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, skiing, hunting, fly fishing, and flying his airplane. He and his wife have four grown children and seven grandchildren.
