For more than 20 years, Benjamin has specialized in advising entrepreneurial clients in managing, selling, or transferring their businesses to the next generation. With extensive experience in drafting and reviewing a wide range of tax and estate planning documents, he enjoys allowing clients to benefit from a well-conceived, implemented and executed plan.
Working side-by-side with clients to review their estate and tax documents is what he enjoys most about his role. He proactively examines buy-sell agreements, corporate articles, partnership operating agreements, durable powers, wills, trusts, private foundations and family limited partnerships to ensure the implementation of clients’ estates is most beneficial to the family.
Benjamin graduated magna cum laude, with honors, from Texas Christian University, receiving bachelors degrees in both political science and history. He subsequently earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University School of Law and an LL.M. from Washington University School of Law. Benjamin is admitted to the Missouri Bar and holds the Securities 7 and 66 registrations.
Outside of the office, Benjamin is an avid long-distance swimmer and Scotch enthusiast. Benjamin and his wife, AJ, are active in the St. Louis animal rescue community, volunteering at Stray Rescue of St. Louis and working closely with Tenth Life Cat Rescue. As volunteers, they specialize in rearing abandoned neonate kittens for adoption.
