As Senior Advisor for the Compardo, Wienstroer, Conrad & Janes team, Benjamin Trujillo is a trusted resource in matters of corporate and partnership taxation, estate planning, estate and gift-tax planning, estate and trust administration, charitable planning, business continuation and business transfers.

For almost 25 years, Benjamin has specialized in advising entrepreneurial clients in managing, selling, or transferring their businesses to the next generation. With extensive experience in drafting and reviewing a wide range of tax and estate planning documents, Benjamin’s clients benefit from a well-conceived, implemented and executed plans.

Benjamin thrives in his role when working side-by-side with clients to review their estate and tax documents. He proactively ensures the implementation of clients’ estates is most beneficial to their family by examining every piece of the puzzle: buy-sell agreements, corporate bylaws, family limited partnership operating agreements, durable powers, wills, trusts and private foundations.

Benjamin graduated magna cum laude, with honors, from Texas Christian University, receiving bachelor’s degrees in both political science and history. He subsequently earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University School of Law and an LL.M. from Washington University School of Law. Benjamin is admitted to the Missouri Bar and holds the Series 66 registration.

Outside of the office, Benjamin is an avid long-distance swimmer and Scotch enthusiast. Benjamin and his wife, AJ, are active in the St. Louis animal rescue community, volunteering at Stray Rescue of St. Louis and working closely with Tenth Life Cat Rescue. As volunteers, they specialize in rearing abandoned neonate kittens for adoption.
