Tyler Joern

Advisor

Tyler Joern partners with clients to understand what they’re working toward and build strategies designed to get them there. Drawing on more than a decade of experience in institutional investing and high-net-worth wealth management, he brings a disciplined, long-term perspective to every client relationship.

Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration—with dual majors in Finance and International Business and Cum Laude honors—from the University of Dayton. He began his career at Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting in Chicago, where he advanced from analyst to consultant on the private markets team, advising large institutional clients on alternative investment portfolios and evaluating new investment opportunities. He then spent nearly eight years at Bernstein Private Wealth Management in San Francisco, working with tech executives and business owners in the high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth space. As a Wealth Advisor, he managed a comprehensive book of business across a wide range of complex financial needs.

Tyler was drawn to the CWJ Team at Moneta for its rare combination of scale and specialization. The team’s dedicated specialists and deep bench of expertise in tax and estate planning allow him to focus on what matters most: understanding each client’s unique situation and crafting thoughtful, long-term strategies to help them achieve what they’re working toward.

A native of St. Louis, Tyler recently returned home with his wife and their sons. Outside the office, the family enjoys discovering new hiking trails, exploring St. Louis’s restaurant and brewery scene, and rediscovering the city Tyler grew up in. He also enjoys getting out on the golf course whenever he can.
