Troy serves as a trusted advisor and acts in a Family CFO role in helping his clients achieve their financial goals. Troy enjoys working with clients at every stage of the financial life cycle and strives to deliver a customized approach while providing a level of service that is unmatched in the client’s best interest. Troy joins the Diederich Simmons Perez team in the Kansas City office.
Troy graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Master of Accountancy degree along with a Graduate Taxation Certificate. Troy later became credentialed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and started his career at Ernst & Young working in their Tax Department. After spending 6 years serving large, multi-national corporations, he joined the DSP Team at Moneta to work with individuals and families in financial planning to help them reach their goals and objectives. Troy takes a holistic approach to financial advising through investment, estate, income tax, retirement, and business succession planning.
Troy lives in Parkville, Missouri with his wife and two young sons. Family is Troy’s true passion, which fuels his motivation and is how he spends most of his free time. Outside of spending time with his family, Troy enjoys playing golf & pickleball and cheering on his favorite Kansas City and Missouri sports teams. Troy also enjoys being outside, grilling, and traveling.
