Tara Beffa helps ensure clients experience clarity, confidence, and consistency at every touchpoint. As Director of Operations for the Kittner Team, she partners closely with Advisors and the Enterprise Service Team to strengthen the operational and financial infrastructure that supports proactive, responsive service—allowing advisors to focus on delivering thoughtful, personalized guidance.
Tara brings deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, using data and performance insights to anticipate client needs, allocate resources effectively, and support informed decision making across the team. Her background in project management enables her to oversee complex initiatives, service enhancements, and client deliverables with precision, ensuring work is executed seamlessly and on schedule. By continuously refining processes and maintaining direct relationships with a select group of clients, Tara plays a key role in delivering a consistently high level of service aligned with clients’ long-term goals.
Tara joined Moneta in 2026, drawn by the firm’s distinguished reputation in the St. Louis market and its commitment to excellence, integrity, and enduring client partnerships. She saw Moneta as an opportunity to contribute her experience to a high performing organization that sets the standard for leadership and service in the wealth management industry.
Prior to Moneta, Tara spent 11 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis in leadership roles, most recently overseeing the Financial Management Financial Planning & Analysis group. Earlier in her career, she held project management and technology-focused leadership positions supporting the U.S. Treasury, where she contributed to major operational and systems initiatives tied to the Federal Reserve’s role as the Treasury’s fiscal agent. She also brings experience from the Department of Defense, where she focused on cost analysis and financial decision support. Across these roles, Tara developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, largescale project execution, cross-agency collaboration, and people leadership.
Tara earned her Master of Business Administration and her bachelor’s degree with a double major in Economics/Finance and Accounting from McKendree University. She holds the Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) designations.
Active in the St. Louis community, Tara is involved with FOCUS St. Louis. Originally from Nashville, Illinois, she now lives in St. Louis with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active with her kids, watching (and sometimes playing) sports, reading, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
