As Partner on the Finerty Team, Susan Brown oversees client service and strategic initiatives for the team’s family office practice and leads the internal team that serves multi-generational client families. She works closely with many of the team’s family office clients and partners with their other advisors to develop and implement investment, tax, estate planning, and charitable strategies. Developing deep relationships, understanding what is most important to each client family, and simplifying complex concepts is at the heart of Susan’s approach to providing superb client service.

Prior to joining Moneta in 2020, Susan worked 14 years as a Principal at St. Louis Trust & Family Office, a boutique multi-family office and trust company where she was the lead advisor for several of the firm’s significant client families. Previously, she served as an investment banking analyst at Stifel Nicolaus & Co.

Susan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Managerial Economics & Strategy from Washington University in St. Louis, where she played collegiate basketball and won a national championship.

Away from work, Susan keeps busy with her husband and two children. She enjoys morning runs, playing tennis and golf, Pilates, and spending time in the mountains.
