Senior Retirement Plan Advisor

Sarah Bishop serves as a trusted advisor, partnering with business owners and plan sponsors to design, manage, and govern retirement plans that support organizational goals and long-term workforce financial security. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Sarah helps employers navigate the complexities of retirement plan regulations while mitigating fiduciary risk and improving retirement outcomes for plan participants through clear governance and thoughtful plan design. 

Sarah brings deep expertise across plan design, investment oversight, fiduciary support, and financial wellness education, and is particularly passionate about helping employers strengthen financial security and retirement readiness for their teams. 

Prior to joining Moneta in 2021, Sarah served as a Senior Retirement Plan Consultant at EPIC Retirement Plan Services (formerly RPS Benefits), where she supported advisors and plan sponsors in the design, administration, and oversight of qualified retirement plans. 

Sarah is an active member of the American Retirement Association’s National Association for Plan Advisors (NAPA) and the American Society for Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). She serves as Vice President and Treasurer of the Gateway St. Louis ASPPA Benefits Council and as a member of the Retirement Advisor Council, a national organization dedicated to improving qualified plan and participant retirement outcomes. 

Outside of her professional work, Sarah is actively involved in her community. She serves on the Board of the American Red Cross of Greater St. Louis, the Christ Church Legacy Foundation, and as Chair of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Metro-East Legacy Dinner Committee. Sarah and her husband have two children, and away from the office she enjoys cheering them on at their baseball and football games and spending time outdoors with her family.
