Robbie Hutchinson

With more than 25 years in the financial services industry—including more than two decades in recruiting and business development at Wells Fargo Advisors—Robbie Hutchinson brings deep expertise and a genuine understanding of advisors’ needs to Moneta’s M&A and Business Development team.

Robbie joined Moneta in 2025, drawn by the firm’s commitment to professional growth, true independence, and its unique partner-owned structure. His focus is on connecting with financial advisors and teams who are ready to take their practice to the next level while looking to secure their legacy and future.

Robbie understands the challenges and opportunities advisors face when considering a transition. His extensive experience in advisor recruiting means he knows what life is like for advisors out on their own and appreciates the catalysts that drive them to seek new opportunities while also empathizing with their needs, desires, and perspective.

Why Advisors Choose Moneta

Moneta stands apart as a 100% partner-owned firm, with no private equity or outside shareholders. This empowers advisors to gain access to the large-scale resources of a national firm without sacrificing their entrepreneurial spirit, independence, and control over their practice.

Advisors who join Moneta become equity partners, gaining true ownership and a voice in the firm’s direction. Moneta’s enterprise service team takes care of back-office support—including the essential but time-consuming domains of compliance, human resources, and technology that require specialized expertise—so advisors can focus on what they love and do best: providing exceptional care and advice to clients.

Moneta’s commitment to independence means advisors maintain control over their client relationships and business decisions, while benefiting from the resources, scale, and support of a large, nationally recognized firm. Moneta also invests in attracting and developing top talent, ensuring a robust internal succession plan so teams can serve clients across generations.

Robbie’s Approach

Robbie’s role is to facilitate initial conversations with advisors interested in learning more about joining Moneta to explore if the firm’s model is the right fit for their practice. If there’s mutual interest, Robbie will introduce advisors to Moneta’s CEO, Eric Kittner, for a deeper discussion about partnership at the firm.

Robbie’s style is approachable and consultative: “At the end of the day, it’s just a conversation. It may work, it may not—but you’ll walk away knowing your options and what Moneta can offer.”
