For every client she advises, Nicole Bailey necessitates building relationships on mutual trust, confidentiality, and respect. Coupled with her significant experience, having a strong bond with clients allows her to make thoughtful, progressive decisions that are uniquely tailored to clients’ needs today and in the future.
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Accountancy degrees from Southern Illinois University—Carbondale. Prior to joining Moneta in 2009, Nicole worked at KPMG in the Federal Tax Department, where she worked with high-net-worth individuals and privately held financial institutions. Looking to expand her challenging and interesting work to all areas of a client’s life, she joined the Pietroburgo Team at Moneta.
Nicole passionately pursues the best long-term outcome for her clients, her team, and the firm. Helping families plan for their children, watching them grow up, and then serving those future generations directly is one of the most rewarding aspects of Nicole’s role as a Family CFO. Nicole’s rise as a next-gen leader at Moneta generated fresh energy and progress internally while building trust and confidence amongst the families she serves.
As Chair of the Moneta Group Charitable Foundation, she rallies behind the mission – Equipping people to build their financial capabilities and family assets by partnering in initiatives that focus on economic empowerment and access, as well as supporting organizations that help our communities to thrive.
Outside Moneta, Nicole is a past board member of the American Red Cross, Greater St. Louis. The Red Cross’ mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies has always motivated Nicole. When asked about giving back, Nicole said, “Every little act of kindness helps build a better community. That’s what motivates people and gets them involved. Being ethical, moral and a good person and going out of your way to say hello to a stranger all helps to build a better community.”
Nicole also prioritizes self-care and enjoys a variety of fitness activities; she loves trying new restaurants and enjoying a glass of pinot noir at the end of a long day. In addition, she and her husband enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
