Mike is a Partner on the Duff Torney team with a planning specialty in taxation and estate planning. His typical clients are business owners, executives, physicians and lawyers.

Mike is consulted to create client tax projections, review client estate plans, create or update business exit plans, advise executives on company stock compensation packages, and implement tax savings strategies. He develops the investment plans for new clients and evaluates investment opportunities for existing clients. Mike is a regular contributor to the team’s blog.

Mike joined Moneta Group after serving as an Associate Wealth Advisor at Buckingham Strategic Wealth, where he earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. He previously worked as a law clerk while acquiring his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University School of Law. Mike received his B.A. in Government from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Outside of Moneta, Mike is actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Muny and the Corporate Council of the Missouri Botanical Garden. He enjoys tinkering with his golf swing, playing squash (poorly), and rooting for the Green Bay Packers. Mike lives in Glendale with his wife, Erin, and their three children.
