Michael Heffernan

Client Service Manager

As a Client Service Manager at Moneta, Michael Heffernan emphasizes human connection and relationship building while providing thorough service and effective solutions to his clients. He believes that the most beneficial relationships are built on communication and trust.

Michael comes from a close, tight-knit family. He was inspired to join both his father and grandfather in the financial advisory business so he could work with and learn from his role models in a business where he can feel the impact their service has on clients, friends, and family.

After graduating from Indiana University, Michael spent the first four years of his career as a Commercial Real Estate broker in the St. Louis area. Through door to door “cold calling,” he learned the value of human connection and relationship building in any business. As both a landlord and tenant representative, his team provided analysis and recommendations on how to maximize long-term growth and success for clients. These skills directly translated to the world of financial planning at Moneta.

Michael serves on the Chaminade Alumni Board and previously served as a mentor for several students in the Join Hands, East St. Louis program. He enjoys playing golf, fishing, or playing and watching just about any sport. He also thoroughly enjoys trying new restaurants and the tremendous St. Louis food scene. Above all, he values spending quality time with family and friends.
