Matt Schoelch joined Moneta as an Advisor on the Ring Winegrad Hunady & Sallaberry Team because he saw it as a world-class organization that always puts clients first. He thrives on the firm’s collaborative approach to problem solving and protecting what client’s cherish. Matt positions himself as the financial quarterback for his clients as he helps them achieve their professional and personal goals.

Before joining Moneta, Matt worked nearly five years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the consulting department specializing in tax for both Fortune 500 companies and privately held businesses. This experience helped him develop a dedicated work ethic while learning to think critically. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2016.

In his free time, Matt is an avid golfer, reader, traveler, and St. Louis sports fan. He also loves to cook and explore the STL culinary scene and spend time outside playing tennis or pickleball. Matt and his wife welcomed their first child into the world at the end of 2022 and are thrilled to be parents.
