Matt Schaller

Advisor

MBA, CFA, CFP®

Matt Schaller CFA, CFP® entered the financial services industry in 2008, witnessing firsthand how emotions can impact investor decisions during turbulent times. He made it his career mission to understand not only investments, but also how they align with his clients’ overall financial plan. This commitment led him to pursue both the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designations. With extensive client service experience and a multifaceted perspective from his time as an Investment Research Analyst, he guides clients through all aspects of their financial lives.

Matt understands the importance of holistic financial planning and that it goes beyond just investments. He joined Moneta to leverage a deep bench of experts to address all aspects of a client’s financial life. From estate planning and tax strategies to charitable gifting and legacy considerations, Matt and his team are set up to tackle the complexities that high-net-worth families experience.

With Matt’s expertise and the help of his experienced team, he continues to grow his client base, always providing a high-touch, white-glove experience to all high-net-worth families he serves. Clients can expect to be put at ease by his calm demeanor, discretion, and ability to navigate sensitive topics that can arise when speaking about wealth.

When not at work, Matt, his wife, and their three young daughters embrace an active lifestyle. Whether at sporting events (kids or professional), traveling, connecting with friends and family, the Schaller family is always on the move.

Matt’s creativity finds expression in home brewing. It’s a rewarding outlet that complements his financial expertise. He also actively supports Trailnet, an organization advocating for safer streets for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users in St. Louis. As a board member of DGCKids, Matt contributes to empowering blind and visually impaired children and their families through specialized services and community support.
