Matt Fletcher is a value investor at heart who enjoys managing individual stock portfolios with a dividend growth slant. After 25 years working professionally in corporate finance and investments, he joined Moneta in 2024 as an Advisor on the Berry Machnowski Team to help manage the team’s growing client base.  

A graduate of Williams College (Class of ‘95), Matt started his investment career at Brown Brothers Harriman before joining Federal Street Advisors, a private wealth management firm in Boston. 

In 2002, Matt pivoted into the start-up world when he co-founded BzzAgent, an internet marketing company. As Director of Finance, he oversaw a decade of growth as the company expanded from the initial four-person founding team to 100+ employees operating in the US, Canada, and UK. In 2012, BzzAgent was acquired by dunnhumby Ltd., a London-based analytics firm. 

Following the acquisition, Matt returned to his investment roots at Morgan Stanley, earning his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. Matt has also obtained CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification and operates as a CFP® professional with a focus on the financial planning needs of his clients. 

Matt lives in Lexington, MA with his wife and their three children. He spends his weekends coaching baseball and basketball.
