Margie Glenn

Advisor

CPA, CFP®

Before joining CWJ, Margie Glenn (Carmody) worked as a manager in KPMG’s Kansas City audit practice. There, she served clients in the investment management and broker-dealer industry while also gaining valuable experience with nonprofit foundations and professional sports teams. Her KPMG training provided Margie with the opportunity to hone her client service and project management skills working in a highly collaborative environment, making her a perfect fit for CWJ. “It’s exciting to be a part of this client-centric and highly experienced team to help launch an office in my hometown of Kansas City – it was simply an opportunity I could not pass up,” said Margie. Margie is passionate about seeking to understand her clients’ unique situations. She goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional experience with a personal touch, which is at the core of Moneta’s values.

Margie graduated with highest distinction from the University of Kansas, receiving both a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She subsequently earned her CPA license and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In addition to serving clients, Margie also serves her community. She is currently Board Treasurer for Youth Ambassadors, a local nonprofit employment program for underserved youth. She is also a Big Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters ACES Program, which provides high school students with Individualized Student Success plans, career and skill development workshops, college resources, and access to internships and employment opportunities. Most recently, Margie was chosen by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce to participate in the prestigious Centurions Leadership Program (Class of 2025). During her free time, Margie enjoys staying active outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Spencer, their daughter, Kit, and cat, Willis.
