Landon Gelven

Client Service Manager

Landon is passionate about helping families gain confidence in their financial futures. As a Client Service Manager with the Rapplean Team at Moneta, he supports clients in achieving their financial goals through exceptional service and attention to detail.

Landon’s interest in wealth management was shaped by his own family’s experiences. Growing up, he watched his parents work tirelessly while his father completed medical school and his mother taught high school calculus. As he got older, his father shared lessons about budgeting, saving, and investing, sparking Landon’s interest in personal finance. Seeing the confidence a trusted financial advisor brought to his family inspired him to pursue a career helping others achieve the same peace of mind. Today, he is particularly passionate about serving individuals and families, including physicians, educators, and young professionals, as they work toward their financial goals.

Landon joined Moneta after completing a summer internship and was drawn to its fee-only fiduciary model and partner-owned structure. A St. Louis native and graduate of MICDS, he developed the discipline, work ethic, and commitment to continuous improvement that continue to guide him today. Those qualities helped him earn the opportunity to compete as a D1 lacrosse student-athlete at Saint Joseph’s University where they won an Atlantic 10 Championship while consistently being ranked top 20 in the country. He earned dual degrees in Finance and Accounting while balancing the demands of rigorous academics and athletics. He earned Dean’s List honors all four years and plans to pursue the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation as he continues his career in wealth management.

Outside of work, Landon enjoys golfing, staying active, following St. Louis sports, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and being with his two dogs. He also coaches lacrosse for Project Missouri in his local community, where he enjoys giving back to the sport by helping young athletes pursue opportunities and experiences similar to those that helped shape his own journey.
