CPA

Kim Mueller enjoys helping people navigate complex situations. She gives them peace of mind by taking care of them like family.

Kim joined Moneta as a Senior Advisor on the Diederich Simmons Perez Team in 2018 because of the firm’s clear commitment to delivering unparalleled “Raving Fan” customer service. Kim began her public accounting career in the federal tax practice at Mueller Prost and KPMG, where she served as a manager providing tax compliance and consulting services to clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, Kim was in a Talent Acquisition role at KPMG that further capitalized on her ability to develop trust and rapport in client relationships.

Kim now leverages all this experience for her clients at Moneta as their Family CFO. She welcomes the return to her client-service roots and an opportunity to move beyond the narrow scope of tax advice. Taking a more holistic approach to financial planning, Kim and the Diederich Team empower ambitious individuals and their families to achieve their major life goals.

Kim holds current CPA and Series 65 licenses and earned her B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Outside of the office, she serves as a board member for Lighthouse for the Blind and enjoys traveling, reading, playing tennis and spending time with her husband, Wes.
