At Moneta, Kevin Nelson advises on the financial affairs of multi-generational families and drives strategic growth within the Family Office practice. He plays an integral role in the firm’s private markets initiatives, successfully sourcing and coordinating direct investments, many of which provide clients with exclusive opportunities to grow and protect their wealth. Kevin’s commitment to delivering a diverse range of investment solutions in the family office space has made him a vital resource for many.

Upon joining Moneta, Kevin initially focused on client relationships within the Professional Athlete practice, where he gained invaluable experience in alternative investments. His role quickly expanded to the family office practice, a testament to his ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and drive value for clients.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Saint Louis University. A Chicago native, Kevin began his career with Moneta in St. Louis before returning to his hometown in 2021 when he transferred to Moneta’s Chicago office. In his free time, Kevin enjoys playing basketball and hockey and hosting gatherings with friends.
