Moneta Partner Jordan Janes leads the Compardo, Wienstroer & Janes Team’s professional athlete practice. He specializes in delivering personalized financial advisory services to professional athletes and their families. Jordan and his team build lifelong, value-added relationships by providing expert counsel to their clients, who reap the results of thoughtfully crafted, precisely executed financial plans.

Whether coaching clients in their financial endeavors or coaching an amateur hockey team, Jordan Janes is always a team player. “I love the whole concept of a team,” Jordan explains. “Working together with other people, focusing on a common goal, and pushing yourself to achieve more than you ever thought possible, these are all essential elements that create a win. They are also the things that make me passionate about helping my clients achieve their financial goals.” Jordan is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) professional and currently serves on Moneta’s governance committee. Jordan oversees a team of advisors helping athletes manage the complex issues needed to sustain a successful career both on and off the field of play.

Jordan is actively involved in the St. Louis sports community, currently serving on the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Sports Commission and a legacy of coaching for the St. Louis AAA Amateur Blues. In 2019, Jordan was named to The St. Louis Business Journal’s prestigious “40 Under 40” list and was recognized as one of “50 Missourians You Should Know” by Ingram’s magazine. He is a National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) Registered Player Financial Advisor and has met the extensive professional requirements and rigorous standards put forth by the NFLPA’s Board of Player Representatives for financial advisors in their Program.

Jordan, his wife Julie, their daughter Lily, and son Taylor, live in Webster Groves. He enjoys spending time with family, traveling and just about any sporting activity.
