Greg Reading is dedicated to guiding Moneta clients through the complexities of financial planning with clarity and compassion. Drawing on his background in education and foreign language studies, Greg excels at connecting with clients and helping them make informed decisions about their financial futures. He is especially passionate about multigenerational estate planning, inspired by his parents’ lifelong careers in medical and social service fields, which instilled in him the values of hard work and thoughtful preparation. 

Greg joined the Lane Hipple Team in 2021, seeking to offer clients a more holistic approach to financial management. At Lane Hipple, he has embraced the financial planning process, expanding his expertise and enhancing the services he provides. His professional journey includes roles at Merrill Lynch Bank of America, Foresters Financial, and Cetera Investors, where he gained firsthand insight into the risks and opportunities clients face across different areas of investing. These experiences shaped his commitment to always putting clients’ best interests first.Ā 

Greg earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Studies from Drew University, including a semester at Nanjing University in China. He is a candidate for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERĀ® designation through The American College of Financial Services and maintains Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as Life and Health Insurance credentials. 

Outside the office, Greg enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active with soccer and golf, and exploring Old City Philadelphia with his son. He and his wife love discovering new restaurants, attending sporting events, and experiencing live music.
