Georgios Van Fleet

Senior Client Service Manager

Georgios Van Fleet serves as a dedicated point of contact for clients of the Compardo, Wienstroer & Janes (CWJ) Team at Moneta, ensuring their needs are met with care, responsiveness, and the full depth of resources the team has to offer. He brings a genuine commitment to making the client experience seamless, whether coordinating day-to-day service, supporting financial planning conversations, or connecting clients with the right expertise at the right time.

Georgios, known around the office as Gio, came to this role with a strong foundation in financial services. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University in 2021 before beginning his career at TD Ameritrade/Charles Schwab (2021–2024), where he earned his Series 7, Series 63, and Series 3 licenses. In client service and trade desk roles, he helped clients navigate brokerage operations, margin and equity accounts, and a wide range of investment products—from options and futures to equities.

Prior to joining the CWJ Team, Gio served in Moneta’s Centralized Portfolio Management department (2024–2026), where he obtained his Series 65 license and managed client accounts in alignment with model allocations. His responsibilities included rebalancing, tax-loss harvesting, cash management, and cross-team coordination. He also led an initiative that used automation to streamline fixed income bond order processing, a project built through months of collaboration across the investment department that delivered meaningful efficiency gains for the team.

Drawn to the CWJ Team for its exceptional reputation within Moneta and its collaborative, client-first culture, Gio is committed to continuing to grow as a financial professional. He is currently completing his CFP® comprehensive coursework—spanning retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, risk management, and financial planning—with an anticipated testing date later this year.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Gio is an active member and volunteer at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church and St. Anthony’s Greek Orthodox Church. He has also led Junior Achievement programs on financial literacy for youth and volunteers with Swim Across America, Loaves and Fishes, and the Little Bit Foundation.

A resident of Creve Coeur, Gio and his wife are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child this August. Outside the office, he is an avid swimmer and world traveler. Gio especially enjoys visiting Greece, where his family’s heritage is rooted.
