Elizabeth Sheehan

Senior Family Office Strategist

J.D.

Lizzie serves as a Senior Family Office Strategist at Moneta, where she leads strategic planning and advisory services for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. In this role, she guides clients through sophisticated wealth transfer strategies, complex estate plans, philanthropic initiatives, and family governance structures, helping them preserve, grow, and transfer wealth in alignment with their values and goals.

Lizzie enjoys facilitating meaningful dialogue across generations, working closely with families to define their priorities and mission, foster rising generation engagement, and steward long-term legacies. She also plays a key leadership role within the team, mentoring Family Office service members and overseeing the execution of complex projects including intergenerational gifting strategies, entity structuring, and estate tax planning.

Prior to joining Moneta, Lizzie was Director of Legal Services at a private multi-family office, where she provided tailored counsel on estate planning, legal structures, and governance. She also led multi-generational client relationships. Earlier in her career, she practiced domestic litigation after earning her license to practice law in the state of Missouri. These experiences continue to inform her thoughtful, client-centric approach.

Lizzie was drawn to Moneta for the opportunity to collaborate with top professionals and contribute to the continued growth of the firm’s family office offering, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of today’s families.

Outside of work, Lizzie enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is also actively engaged in her community, serving as a member of the Spirit of St. Louis Women’s Fund.
