Don and his team provide comprehensive financial advice to corporate executives, physician groups, business owners and affluent individuals in the areas of retirement planning, investments, tax and estate planning.
Don joined Moneta in 1988, served as Chairman of the Board from 2012-2014 and now stands as one of the firm’s longest tenured and most experienced Partners. As an industry thought leader, he has been selected as a public speaker on various investment, retirement planning and estate planning topics.
Don earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Valparaiso University. He holds some of his industry’s highest professional designations as a Certified Public Accountant and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, among others. Prior to joining Moneta, Don worked as a tax manager in the St. Louis office of Price Waterhouse, now PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He was also a founding member of the Executive Financial Services group, which provides financial planning to corporate executives.
In the community, Don serves on the board for Wings of Hope. He previously served terms as a Board Member for the Ronald McDonald House and K-Life St. Louis, and an Alderman and Pension Board Member for the City of Glendale.
In his spare time, Don enjoys golfing, skiing, fishing, cycling and flying his plane. He and his wife have three grown children and six grandchildren who live in Texas and Missouri.
