For Cam Kline, excellence is a way of life. He is constantly pursuing higher standards in all facets. This permeates into his client relationships, where he quickly connects well with people through empathy and asking questions. He loves working with people, solving problems, creating things, and – of course – finance.   

Cam serves clients as their Family CFO, both developing and executing customized strategies to achieve their specific financial goals. He has cultivated a specialized expertise for advising and serving business owners through a few key relationships, and their repeated referrals. Cam loves collaborating with business owners to create strategic tax and saving action plans while mitigating estate taxation issues for future generations.  

Cam joined Moneta as an Advisor in 2024 with eight years of experience in the financial industry. He previously spent two years at Thrivent, a Fortune 500 insurance broker-dealer, where he helped onboard and train new advisors while managing a region that boasted the company’s highest success rate, at the time, in areas such as advisor retention, new client acquisition, and sales. He later worked four years at Prudential, a Fortune 500 company, where he and his team built one of the largest and most successful fee-based financial planning practices in the country among Prudential advisors. Cam’s career began in banking, providing a solid foundation for his financial expertise. 

Cam earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). He is also certified with a Series 66 license and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. 

Outside of work, Cam is a devoted family man with a wife, son, and daughter. He loves coaching their sports teams, nurturing their passions, and spending quality time together. Cam is also a dedicated sports fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Oklahoma City Thunder, and F1 driver Max Verstappen. He enjoys playing fantasy football, reading, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
