Bob Der

Associate Advisor

CPA, MBA

Bob Der joined Moneta’s Hiett Walsh Team in Colorado with an impressive education in accounting and business—bringing undergraduate and master’s degrees from University of Southern California and an MBA from University of Michigan—along with career experience in consulting and auditing for both public and private companies.

Bob was drawn to Moneta for both professional and personal reasons.

“From a career perspective, Moneta’s concept of the Family CFO resonates with me. It is a comprehensive approach that clients can feel the value in. Empowering people across generations, at different phases in their lives, to pursue and achieve their goals and dreams fuels me,” Bob said.

On a more personal note, he also had prior positive experiences with and exposure to the Hiett Walsh team.

Bob and his wife were drawn to the Denver/Boulder area—with its combination of metro amenities and mountain recreation—as a great place to raise their young family. After playing football at USC as a walk-on kicker under head coach Lane Kiffin, Bob is now more likely to be found coaching on the sidelines or off-roading—whether on four wheels, a mountain bike, or trail running.
