Ally Kell

Advisor

CFP®

From a young age, Ally had a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. Whether through financial education, community outreach, or international relief efforts, Ally has devoted her time to empowering people.

After earning her bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and economics from Southeast Missouri State University and a master’s in social work from Washington University in St. Louis, Ally could see that she could make a true impact by bridging financial advice with social good. After successful careers at Merrill Lynch and UBS Financial Services, Ally sought to reach a wider client base and expand the ways she could serve those families. She wanted to be part of a team whose capabilities go beyond investments, and the move to Moneta was the natural fit.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Ally works with a wide range of clients, including those new to managing wealth and those who are too busy to oversee their own finances. She provides comprehensive solutions for their most complex opportunities and challenges. Some unique complexities include designing plans for individuals and families who have recently experienced significant life events, such as a divorce, personal injury settlement, lottery win, or transfer of wealth through inheritance or the sale of a business. Her priority is to guide them through this transition by providing thoughtful analysis on tough financial decisions and implementing diverse investment plans while utilizing advanced tax and estate strategies that will extend beyond their lifetime.

Ally is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She spends considerable time volunteering, fundraising, and serving on boards. Ally is currently the Board President of the Spirit of St. Louis Women’s Fund, a local collective giving circle that annually grants funds to local nonprofits.
