Abby Covington

Client Service Manager

Abby Covington partners closely with advisors to deliver a thoughtful, responsive experience for clients. Known for her proactive communication style, Abby focuses on building strong relationships and ensuring clients feel heard, valued, and supported at every stage of their financial journey.

Abby joined Moneta as a Client Service Manager in 2024, drawn to the firm’s reputation as a collaborative, people-first workplace. She was especially excited to join the Duff Torney Team because of its strong team dynamics, long‑tenured members, and shared commitment to genuinely caring for clients’ well-being.

Abby’s career path brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to her role. She began her professional life as an eighth-grade math teacher before dedicating a decade to raising her three children. Abby later returned to the workforce in client‑facing and service‑oriented roles, including time as a lululemon educator and a medical assistant, experiences that sharpened her attention to detail, empathy, and ability to connect with people. Those skills now serve as the foundation of her work supporting clients and advisors at Moneta.

Abby earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Outside of work, she spends most of her time cheering on her three busy teenagers, often at club volleyball tournaments that involve plenty of travel. When she has downtime, she enjoys relaxing with family and friends over a glass of wine, ideally on a patio, and looks forward to opportunities to travel whenever possible.
