Compardo, Wienstroer & Janes | Moneta

The second quarter brought a lot to celebrate, from three new CFP® designations and milestone work anniversaries to welcoming new faces, giving back to our community, and showing up in the media in meaningful ways. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve you with such talented and dedicated professionals. We hope you enjoy catching up on what’s been happening across our team.

Moneta has been named a 2026 St. Louis Top Workplaces winner by Energage and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch! What makes this one special is where it comes from — straight from the people who show up every day and bring Moneta to life, with no nominations or committees involved, just honest employee feedback. Building a workplace people genuinely want to be part of has always been a priority for us, and this recognition tells us we're on the right track.

Congratulations to Aoifinn Devitt, Managing Director, Global Wealth, on successfully defending her PhD thesis at King’s College London! Her research examined psychological safety in asset management firms, drawing on over 40 interviews with senior industry professionals to explore culture and performance. The culmination of years of part-time study — begun remotely during COVID — we couldn’t be more proud!

Congratulations to Diane Compardo, named to Barron’s Top 1,500 Financial Advisors list for the ninth consecutive year — ranking #3 in Missouri — and recognized again on the Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list. Diane sees both honors as a reflection of client trust built over years of change, and credits the team behind her for making the recognition possible.

Congratulations to Cynthia Kirkpatrick on being elected to the Missouri Athletic Club’s Class of 2029 Board of Governors! This is a wonderful recognition of Cynthia’s leadership and dedication to the community. We couldn’t be more proud!

We are thrilled to welcome Jack Harrison Joern to the world! Congratulations to Tyler Joern and his family — we wish you all the joy this new chapter brings.

We're excited to welcome Gio VanFleet to the CWJ team as a Senior Client Service Manager. Gio joins us from Moneta's Centralized Portfolio Management team, where he worked closely with advisors managing client portfolios, rebalancing accounts, and supporting investment strategies. That behind-the-scenes investment experience gives him a unique perspective that strengthens the service and guidance we provide our clients every day. Before joining Moneta, Gio built his foundation in financial services at TD Ameritrade/Charles Schwab, and he is currently completing his CFP® coursework. Outside the office, Gio enjoys traveling, swimming, volunteering in the community, and is looking forward to welcoming his first child later this year.

As we continue to grow our Chicago presence, we're excited to welcome Matt Herman as a Senior Advisor. Matt is a seasoned wealth management professional who brings deep expertise in investment management, tax planning, and comprehensive financial planning. His addition strengthens our ability to serve clients today while helping lead the continued growth of our Chicago office. Matt and his wife, Haley, live in Chicago with their two daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing and exploring the city's vibrant restaurant scene.

We're pleased to welcome Tyler Joern back to his hometown of St. Louis. Tyler brings more than a decade of experience working with high-net-worth families and institutional investors, adding even greater depth to our advisory team. His broad investment background and thoughtful approach to financial planning make him a valuable resource for both clients and colleagues. Tyler recently returned to St. Louis with his wife and two young sons, and when he's not in the office, he enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants and breweries, and golfing.

Our summer interns rolled up their sleeves and volunteered at the St. Louis Area Foodbank, joining together in Moneta gear to help fight food insecurity in our community.

Diane Compardo (Partner), Andy Likes (Director of Communications), and Jana Gregorek (Vice President of Talent Acquisition) traveled to SIU Carbondale for a Barron’s Investing in Education panel discussion on AI and hiring for students. Moderated by two SIU professors, the event drew more than 75 students, faculty, and staff and sparked plenty of great questions. Prior to the panel, Diane and Jana also sat down for a radio interview with WSIU Radio/NPR.

Our in-house media studio in action — Aoifinn Devitt taping a Telemundo segment from our newly built studio space.

Benjamin Trujillo and Aoifinn Devitt teamed up for a webinar sharing insights on estate planning and investment management through the lens of 2026’s bestselling memoir “Strangers” by Belle Burden.

Aoifinn guest-appeared on Cynthia’s She Lift Project podcast, and Cynthia returned the favor on Aoifinn’s Markets Happy Hour — two episodes, two conversations, one great morning in Clayton.
