As an Advisor, Lucas Kulma strives to empower his clients to navigate their financial futures and help reach their financial goals. He helps clients plan to meet their long-term goals and enjoys getting to see that plan come to fruition. Developing a personal relationship with his clients to fully understand their perspective and needs is core to his financial planning process. Lucas and his team provide comprehensive financial planning covering investments, taxes, insurance, risk management, retirement, cash flow management and much more.

A graduate from Miami University with a B.S. in Finance, Lucas went on to receive his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification. He is the former chairman of the behavior finance committee for the CFA Society, and an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Colorado and the CFA Colorado Society.

Lucas joined the Kukla McGinnis Brown Team at Moneta in 2019 with more than a decade of industry experience. He previously worked for LourdMurray, primarily serving ultra-high-net-wealth clients in the entertainment industry – including pro athletes and celebrities in television and film. He also worked at Kayne Anderson Rudnick and Northern Trust, where he focused on financial planning for executives, entrepreneurs, retirees and other individuals with complex financial situations.

In the community, Lucas currently serves on the Board for Mile High 360, which provides after-school services and activities to first-generation college bound students.

Outside of the office, Lucas enjoys playing squash, golfing and hitting the slopes, but his greatest thrill in life comes from spending time with his wife and their son.
