As a Senior Advisor on Compardo Wienstroer Conrad Janes at Moneta, Jennifer O’Connor focuses on comprehensive wealth planning and providing family office services to senior corporate executives, successful entrepreneurs, professional athletes, and ultra-affluent multi-generational families.

Jennifer joined Moneta due to the firm’s reputation and dedication to providing premium client service through a collaborative team approach. She values the dynamic combination of a national firm with large-scale resources that provides the personalized attention to clients typically only found at small, boutique family offices.

Immediately before joining Moneta, Jennifer was a Principal at a small boutique investment advisory firm located in Ladue, Missouri. While there, she applied her extensive knowledge and experience to help clients build wealth, plan for financial goals, and advise families through complex financial situations. Prior to that, she worked as a Senior Vice President at US Bank in their Private Wealth Management division, overseeing over $1.5 billion in client assets. She worked with highly complex client relationships involving wealth transfers, ultra-affluent clients, multigenerational families with business interests and family office clients.

Jennifer holds professional designations as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and as a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor. She attended Webster University where she earned her MBA with an emphasis in Finance after earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Chemistry and Public Relations. While earning her MBA, Jennifer developed a passion for economics and investments. It was at this point that she decided not to attend medical school, but rather use her deep routed problem-solving skills to help clients work through financial complexities and issues.

Jennifer is an avid learner. She enjoys reading and listening to podcasts. She is an outdoor enthusiast and loves skiing, bike riding, hiking, and camping. She is able to enjoy all of these things in Wildwood where she lives. While traveling and seeking new adventures, Jennifer tries to attend at least three concerts per year and visit local craft breweries. Her favorite music venue is Red Rocks Amphitheater, where she has attended over a dozen shows.
