Moneta Named to FT 300 List

Moneta Group Named to 2016 Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers for Third Consecutive Year

ST. LOUIS—June 16, 2016—Clayton-based Moneta Group Investment Advisors has been named to the prestigious Financial Times (FT) 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers list for the third time in 2016. As of Dec. 31, 2015 Moneta Group managed $14.5 billion in Assets under management (AUM). The FT list is composed of the top RIA firms throughout the U.S., with the average firm managing $2.6 billion in AUM.

To score the firms, FT assessed data provided by each individual firm and acquired through research. Moneta Group was selected from over 2,000 independent RIA firms and graded on six criteria. The areas evaluated included AUM; AUM growth rate; years in existence; industry certifications of staff; online accessibility; and compliance records.

Thomas O’Meara, Moneta Group’s managing partner and chairman of the board, called the ranking an affirmation of the firm’s success in the industry. “Acknowledgment like this highlights the fact that we’re one of the largest investment advisory firms in the country, but our primary focus continues to be putting our clients first and acting in their best interests,” said O’Meara.

Moneta Group, whose partners own the firm and serve a select group of affluent clients, has been in the financial services business since 1869 and prides itself on its independence.
