ST. LOUIS—January 6, 2016—Moneta Group is pleased to announce that David Curtis, CFP® has been promoted to Partner on The Curtis Team. David’s promotion increases the number of Moneta Group partners to 41. David is joining his father, Allan Curtis, as a full partner on the Curtis Team

For Moneta Group, creating a business succession plan is fundamental in ensuring clients will be taken care of for life and for generations beyond—and the father son duo of the Curtis team is a perfect example of sustainability.

“Our clients are singularly important to us, which is why we have made this commitment to longevity in the relationships we forge,” says David.

“As a father, it is a distinct privilege to share a common interest with your son,” says Allan. “I have been particularly blessed to not only share common interests with David, but also work alongside him every day. I couldn’t be more proud and excited to continue sharing that relationship with our clients and colleagues for many more years to come.”

Before joining Moneta Group in 2003, David gained expertise in banking, corporate finance, and wealth management. He has spent the last 12 years of his financial career as an Advisor on the Curtis Team, and continues to excel in nurturing client relationships and delivering comprehensive financial advice.

David earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and also holds the Certified Financial Planner designation. In addition to these accomplishments, David has completed all the requirements of the PC-to-Principal career track at Moneta Group, demonstrating the combination of technical expertise and business development acumen necessary to succeed as a Partner.

“The Curtis team spans two generations. Similarly, many of our clients are made up of families that span multiple generations,” says David. “To have the opportunity to share in that experience is both unique and rewarding.”

David is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and very active in the community through his Advisory Board membership and role as Treasurer with Joshua Chamberlain Society, as well as his involvement with Mercy Ministries, where he is a Life Skills Instructor helping the community to understand the basic principles of finance.
