With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Lynn is passionate about helping highly successful families, executives and business owners accomplish their financial objectives. A graduate of Harvard University, Lynn brings a rigorous, research-driven approach to the field of wealth management.
“The more complex the better” is something Lynn often says of the types of clients he enjoys helping. Whether it’s the transfer of a multi-generational family business, the development of a highly complex estate or philanthropic plan, or navigating the tax complexities of executive compensation plans, Lynn enjoys helping his clients achieve the peace of mind they desire.
Lynn is a recognized wealth planning expert who has regularly been featured in such publications as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger, Forbes and many others. Lynn is also an Enrolled Agent (EA) of the IRS. EAs are recognized as “America’s tax experts” and can advise clients on all tax matters pertaining to business, individual and estate tax concerns. As a life-long learner, Lynn is also working toward becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is currently studying for a Masters in Taxation (MTax) from the University of Colorado and is in the final stages of completing the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation, a graduate-level designation for advanced estate planning professionals.
Outside of work, Lynn enjoys spending time with his daughter and his wife. Lynn also loves the outdoors, and he enjoys ultra-marathon trail running, mountain biking and road cycling. Giving back to the community is also important. Lynn has served as a board member for the non-profit, Smart Girl, Inc., an organization committed to helping young girls make smart choices. Lynn also regularly serves underprivileged youth by taking them on mountain bike rides for the non-profit organization Trips for Kids Denver/Boulder.

Moneta’s in-house fixed income trading team gives our clients the advantage of core bonds trades with no additional fees; in 2020 our team executed 16,320 individual trades and positioned $3.7 billion in new fixed income securities. All this comes with the flexibility to negotiate trades with 14 different broker dealer partners.

Chad martin|client service manager
As a client service manager on the Dunston Team, Chad is responsible for ensuring that the team’s clients have an exceptional experience. Possessing a deep interest in financial planning, Chad feels a sense of fulfillment whenever he can help steer a client in the right direction.
Chad received a B.S. in Financial Planning and Consumer Economics from the University of Georgia. During his time at UGA, he took part in several organizations and completed an internship with a local Registered Investment Advisor. Chad was able to give back to his community as an Advanced Certified Tax Preparer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA). In the program, he gained a greater understanding of the tax system and the confidence to help others with their unique financial situations. Prior to joining Moneta, Chad held a position at a successful wealth management firm in Atlanta. Chad is on track to meeting the exam requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
In his free time, Chad enjoys cooking, swimming, exercising, and spending time outdoors in the beautiful Colorado Rockies.
