Moneta ranks as a Top Workplace in St. Louis for sixth straight year

Repetition is no coincidence.

Year after year, publication after publication selects Moneta to its list of best workplaces.

For the sixth consecutive year, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch named Moneta to its rankings of “Top Workplaces” in St. Louis. The recognition comes on the heels of Moneta also being ranked by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of the city’s “Best Places to Work” for a fifth consecutive year. Moneta was also among the select group of firms to earn a spot on InvestmentNews’ national rankings of “Best Places to Work for Financial Advisers” in each of the award’s first two years of publication.

In 2019 more than 1,100 companies and nonprofits of all sizes were nominated in the St. Louis Post Dispatch’s “Top Workplaces” awards program. Moneta ranked 28th among midsized companies.

All these awards validate Moneta as an ideal landing spot for anyone seeking work in the wealth management industry. Ambitious financial advisors who want to be a part of something bigger will find the rare combination of an entrepreneurial culture backed by large-scale resources – a combination so compelling that it was worthy of a 6-page spread as FA Magazine’s cover story in March. Young professionals early in their career or new to the industry will find a company eager to invest in their growth through Moneta University, the firm’s talent and organizational development program that InvestmentNews called “inspirational” for the rest of the industry.

Moneta annually designates $172K in grant money exclusively to employee-sponsored causes through its charitable foundation. The “Moneta Momentum” program promotes engagement from employees. Moneta also grants employees eight hours of paid volunteer time off with the cause of their choice annually. Events that build relationships across teams include a Chili Cook-off and Oktoberfest, a “Breakfast of Champions” omelet bar, new employee meet and greet pizza parties, ice cream socials and food truck days. Moneta also regularly buys lunch for groups of randomly selected employees from different departments to enjoy what is known as a “Fishbowl Friday” together.
