Moneta Chief Investment Officer Bill Hornbarger leads Moneta’s internal investment team, which consists of Director of Investment Research Luke Ferraro, Director of Fixed Income Rich McDonald and Fixed Income Trader Jennifer Nolan. DiMeo Schneider will complement the team’s research, particularly in the areas of private capital and hedge funds.
“We really think of them as an expanded research department, but just in another building,’” Hornbarger told Citywire. “We are augmenting our list selectively with some of the managers they recommend, so our list will get a little bit larger, but we still want to have high conviction in every asset class with our best managers.”
Moneta is currently hiring to boost its investment team. It plans to add two investment consultants to work with advisory teams, as well as a fixed income trader for its in-house fixed income team, which trades individual bonds for clients.
