Moneta Group, a leading provider of personalized “Family CFO” services, is proud to announce that Partner Diane Compardo, CPA, CFP®, AWMA®, PFS has been named to St. Louis Small Business Monthly’s “100 St. Louisans You Should Know to Succeed in Business” list.

The publication profiles 100 influential St. Louis professionals nominated by a group of community leaders and selected by a panel of judges based on their overall contributions to the business community.  All the honorees are considered to be notable achievers who have unselfishly helped others succeed. SBM hosted a business luncheon where each of the nominees was recognized, with a keynote speech given by Joe Reagan, President and CEO of the St. Louis Regional Chamber.

As the leader of The Compardo Team, Diane has worked tirelessly employing advanced planning strategies for her clients all while developing and mentoring a growing team of 15 professionals.

“We are so fortunate to have Diane as a part of the Moneta Group family,” says Susan Conrad, Director of Strategy and Human Resources. “She truly leads her team by example, thoughtfully listening to and honoring their diverse perspectives, which carries over into the relationships that they forge with clients. Her actions inspire others to deliver exceptional care in every interaction.”

“Throughout my life I’ve been fortunate to have a number of generous mentors who went out of their way to help me develop and reach goals; their support inspires me to do the same for others,” says Compardo.

Outside of the office, Diane shares her passion for helping others with several non-profit organizations in the St. Louis community. One of these includes her role as Treasurer and Finance Chair for Covenant House Missouri, an organization that empowers homeless, runaway and at-risk youth to live independently and become contributing members of the community.

“I think it is highly important as business leaders, to take ownership of the community in which we live and work,” says Compardo.  “I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to offer my financial expertise to a cause that is so dear to me.”

As part of her mentoring, Compardo encourages her team to give back to the community in a way that is meaningful to them.  “I always tell my team, ‘Whatever you chose to do, both in your professional career and personal endeavors to make sure you do it with passion and for the good of others.’”
