ST. LOUIS—November 6th, 2014—The Compardo Team at Moneta Group, a leading provider of personalized “Family CFO” services, is pleased to announce the addition of Marc R. Boguslaw as Director of Business Development. In this newly-created role, Boguslaw will be responsible for helping to grow the team’s relationships with prospective clients.
“Our client relationships are built the old-fashioned way, earning their trust one day at a time, and adhering to an unwavering commitment to exceptional client service,” says Diane Compardo, Managing Principal of The Compardo Team. “Marc’s unique background as a former business owner and executive allows him to share invaluable insights and take a seasoned approach to a number of situations. We are thrilled to have his perspectives and business acumen as a part of our team.”
Boguslaw brings more than 30 years of business experience to his role. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado, Boguslaw joined Missouri Bolt Company, his family’s business. At the young age of 37, he became the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
During his tenure, Boguslaw led the company through an aggressive period of development, ultimately growing the business tenfold. The company, located near downtown St. Louis, was eventually sold, leading Boguslaw to an early retirement. It didn’t take long, however, for Boguslaw to realize the desire to remain engaged in both the business world and the local community.
“I’m a builder. I helped build the family business. After retiring, I realized it was something I’d never stop doing,” Boguslaw says. “A long-time friend and mentor suggested I consider a second career in financial services. After spending some initial time learning about the industry, the seed was planted when I was introduced to Diane Compardo through mutual friends. Joining The Compardo Team and helping them build upon the amazing work they have done to date is a natural fit for me. I offer prospective clients a unique point of view, because I’ve been in their shoes. In fact, I’m not only one of the newest team members, but a new client as well!”
As a member of The Compardo Team, Boguslaw educates potential clients, the majority of whom are business owners or corporate executives, on the benefits of utilizing the comprehensive services offered by the team that enable successful families to create and sustain financial independence. Some examples include investment management, retirement planning, multi-generational planning, insurance planning, banking and cash management, business planning, estate and philanthropic strategies, tax and accounting services, and education planning.
Boguslaw is highly involved within the St. Louis community. He is a past President of Meadowbrook Country Club and a former member of the Board of Directors of Whitfield School. Boguslaw is also the founder and past President of the St. Louis chapter of “Sons of Bosses,” and past Associate Chairman of the National Fastener Distribution Association. He is a devoted supporter of Covenant House Missouri and currently serves as Secretary of The Plaza Condominium Association in Clayton. When not at work or serving the community, Boguslaw can be found playing the piano, cooking, traveling or spending time with family and friends.
