We are pleased to announce Diane Compardo, managing partner and leader of the Compardo, Wienstroer, Conrad & Janes Team at the Moneta Group, has been recognized by InvestmentNews as a 2017 “Women to Watch” honoree.
The financial executives on the third annual InvestmentNews “Women to Watch” list were chosen through a rigorous selection process. The process was designed to identify women who are distinguished leaders, demonstrate a willingness to share their experiences with others and give back to the financial industry.
“These 20 women have made a lasting impact on the industry,” says InvestmentNews Vice President and Publisher Suzanne Siracuse. “It is more important than ever to highlight some of the many talented women our industry has to offer. May it serve as inspiration and motivation for others in the industry and for those who will join it in the future.”
Growing up as one of six kids on a farm, Compardo credits her early years for the work ethic and self-reliance she’s developed. Following five years at one of the Big Six accounting firms, Compardo joined Moneta, intrigued by the idea of taking her client relationships further. Now her team has grown to nearly two dozen professionals and Compardo is focusing an increasing amount of effort on developing the up-and-coming leaders within her team.
“I love the energy I get from teaching young people,” Compardo tells InvestmentNews. “And looking at long-term succession planning, I realized that relationships take a long time.”
