Matt Erker began working at Moneta in May 2016, joining the Kittner Sheehan team as an Advisor. He graduated from DePaul University with a degree in Business Management. Matt is a Certified Public Accountant and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
Before coming to Moneta, Matt lived in Chicago where he worked for PriceWaterhouse Coopers, Alvarez and Marsal, and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. At A&M he worked in the Transaction Advisory Group, assisting both private equity and corporate clients in a buy/sell side due diligence and tax structuring. At PWC, he focused on tax compliance working with hedge funds and private equity clients. Matt believes these experiences provide a different perspective when evaluating client’s unique situations. Matt enjoys the comprehensiveness Moneta offers to its clients and the long-term relationships that develop.
Originally from St. Louis, Matt and his wife moved back in May 2016 after living and working in Chicago for 14 years. They currently reside in University City. In his spare time, Matt enjoys doing ironmans and triathlons. He also is a judge for the local organization Arch Grants, a nonprofit organization that provides equity grants for startups in the region.
