While most financial advisers are solely focused on investments, Mark Conrad is typically on the front end of any major decision his clients make and the first call they make when contemplating a major change. He is a trusted adviser with the ability to sit on the same side of the table and provide counsel for them. As a partner at Moneta Group, Mark finds his daily work assisting individuals, entrepreneurs and business owners to be tremendously rewarding.
In 2018, for the second consecutive year, Mark was included on Forbes magazine’s annual list of America’s Top Next-Gen Advisors. Chosen from more than 20,000 nominations, the list recognized 1,000 advisers born after 1980 who are considered to be future industry leaders. Mark was the top ranking advisor among the 15 millennial advisors selected from Missouri and ranked in the top 200 overall. In addition, Mark was recently named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s prestigious “40 Under 40” list in 2018.
Conrad currently serves on Moneta’s human resources and culture committees. In this role, he is working to develop the firm’s strategic vision with respect to these areas and to ensure its benefits, policies, and culture reflect the evolving needs of current and future employees.
Mark has embraced the importance of giving back to the community. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the nonprofit organization, Angels’ Arms. Conrad was also instrumental in helping to set up The Lane Thomas Foundation in 2017, which provides financial support for non-medical expenses to families with children in need of life-saving organ transplants at Omaha healthcare facilities.
For the past seven years, Conrad has been actively involved with De La Salle, Inc. a non-profit organization that provides programming and facilities to La Salle Middle School. He served as treasurer on the organization’s Board of Directors for two years and currently serves on the board’s executive committee, as well as vice chair of the board. In 2017, Conrad chaired De La Salle’s annual golf tournament, raising $50,000 to support the organization’s mission.
Outside of the office Mark enjoys spending time with his family — wife, Cristal and their daughters, Claire and Avery — traveling, professional and college sporting events, and golf.
