CLAYTON, MO. – Thomas O’Meara has added the responsibilities of Managing Partner to his current duties as Chairman of the Board and Principal at Moneta Group.
O’Meara joined Moneta Group in 1986 and is one of the firm’s most tenured principals. He was named chairman in 2014.
In addition to chairing Moneta’s Board of Directors, O’Meara serves on the firm’s executive committee and governance committee.
Outside of Moneta, O’Meara is a board member of Mental Health America. He has served as an instructor and guest lecturer at the University of Missouri-Columbia and St. Louis Community College.
With more than $14 billion in assets under management, Moneta Group was recently ranked the sixth largest RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) firm in the U.S. by Financial Advisor magazine and the largest in Missouri, based on total assets under management as of Dec. 31, 2014. It is the sixth consecutive year that Moneta has been ranked in the Top 10 in the U.S. by Financial Advisor.
