ST. LOUIS—December 22, 2017— Moneta is proud to announce that Mark Conrad, CFP®, CPA, has been named one of St. Louis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 honorees for the class of 2018. This award recognizes young leaders of the region and business community based in St. Louis.
Leader is an apt definition for Conrad, who is one of Moneta’s newest Partners, officially assuming the title on January 1, 2018. He successfully completed Moneta’s partner-in-training program and proved his ability to develop new client relationships, lead a team and serve clients to the Moneta standard.
Being named to the 40 Under 40 List affirms that his leadership stands up against the more than 500 nominations submitted.
“I’m thrilled and humbled to win this award,” says Conrad. “I’m surrounded by so many talented people every day that it feels a bit odd to be singled out; it’s truly a great honor even to be considered.”
Conrad received his B.S. in Accounting from Maryville University. After graduation, Mark spent ten years in the St. Louis office of Rubin Brown, one of the largest and most respected accounting firms in the Midwest. Finding that he was attracted to Moneta’s service offering and focus on client relationships, and looking for more opportunities to leverage his developed skill set, he joined The Compardo Team in 2012 where today he helps lead a growing team of seventeen professionals.
Conrad is active in the local St. Louis community. He is involved with the Moneta Charitable Foundation and serves as Treasurer for De La Salle Middle School and as a Board member for Angels’ Arms.
Conrad is also a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
